home-cooking Solutions
More than just a cooking workshop
Join a community of parents all seeking real positive change in their home-lives.
If you want to feed your family well, have more time for self-care and have more carefree fun with your kids and/or your spouse - you’re in the right place.
Join on a workshop below to get started. We look forward to seeing you there.
what will I get from the workshops?
The workshops are centred around efficient bulk prep to make your home cooking more convenient.
Nonetheless, this is not all you will experience. We will come together to cook, but more so to feel a sense of union and community that is often hard to find in modern-day society.
Chat, make new friendships and create a new support group that you will not find anywhere else, all while feeling productive and helping your future self at home later.
Food nourishes us nutritionally, but it also allows us to bring people together in a way nothing else can, both around the pots and the dining table.
At the end of each workshop, we will have a seat and enjoy afternoon tea together to further get to know each other in a more relaxed way.
You will always take home:
1x Flavour bomb prep (think condiments, pastes, sauces)
1x Edible prep (think dips, freezable items, ferments, dried goods)
1x Family dinner (something for your family to enjoy and hopefully have a little left over for the next day)
Recipe cards for all 3 recipes made that day with how to consume and Change it Up! suggestions for when you choose to make it again.
About your Instructor
Home-cooking is often seen as a chore, but Vic believes with the right approach, cooking can actually become a great tool to improve the overall quality of your life.
Vic’s passion for home-cooking is based on old delicious traditions passed on to her from her upbringing with her retired grandparents. They had the time to cook, so they did, and what she got out of being in that environment was not only a delicious meal, but physical and emotional sustenance that delivered a healthy united family and useful life skills.
Seeing that society often does not support plenty of time to do many things, let alone cook, but gives quick fix, costly solution to the problems it creates; Vic decided to find a permanent solution
to not only home-cooking
but the overwhelm and sense of insufficiency when dealing with all that is involved with care of
the child(ren),
partner,
home and
self outside of fixed commitments such as work
With plenty of commercial as well as home kitchen experience, she is armed with the skills, knowledge and passion to teach you an approach to home-cooking that
will bring back the smile to your and your family’s faces
will help you create the life you want to live instead of hoping that things will eventually get better

The FFD (Food For Days) Community is a great addition to the in-person workshops for those who want more than just 3 hours of my- home-cooking concept or as a great DIY/at-your-own-pace alternative for those who are unable to do the workshops.
It is a place where parents can share their home-cooking wins and progress and discuss all things parenting beyond food.
There are fortnightly live cook-alongs, resources, discussion groups and monthly challenges.

YES! We would like to make these workshops as inclusive as possible.
During checkout, you will be asked if you have any dietary requirements, wether it’s an allergy or a preference, we will make sure to bring the alternative ingredients for your slightly varied version of what we would be making during the class.
-
Absolutely! These workshops are less about learning to cook, but more so about doing something you would otherwise do at home by yourself, with others.Multitasking at it’s best! Have a little fun, make some new friends, and still feel like you accomplished some house tasks. Does it get any better than that?
