Homemade Granola
Granolas are super easy and practical to make! Pick and choose from any of the recommended ingredients below. You do not have to use them all, your granola can be slightly different every time :)
Ingredients:
3 cups Oats
1.5 cup Nuts - walnuts, almonds, cashews, pecans, pistachios, hazelnuts, brazil nuts
1/2 cup Seeds - pepitas, sunflower, flax, poppy, sesame
1/4 cup Coconut flakes
1/4 cup Dried Fruit - sultanas, apples, apricots, berries, goji berries, cranberries, figs
1tsp Coconut Oil*
Pinch of salt
Method:
Preheat the oven to 160C. Bake the nuts until slightly golden. Bake the coconut flakes until golden.
Mix the oats, seeds, spices, dried fruits and coconut oil and roast until golden.
Mix all the baked ingredients together and store in an airtight container.
Change It Up!
Add:
Spices such as cinnamon, nutmeg, clove powder
Citrus Zest eg Orange
How To Use:
With yoghurt, on smoothie bowls, on a fruit salad or with milk like cereal, or as a beautiful gift!
