Tortillas

These are super quick to make, you can use them for any Mexican dish you like or even as a wrap. Great for making a ton at once and freezing in small batches for convenience.

INGREDIENTS:

3 cups of flour
1 cup water
2 tsp salt
A dash of olive oil

METHOD

Combine all ingredients together until all flour is hydrated. At this point, the dough will be ugly and rough.

Allow it to rest for 10 minutes then pull the dough into a round smooth ball.

Allow it to rest for another 20 minutes.

Separate the dough into small portions, you can weigh it to make them all the same or go by eye for convenience, then roll them out into thin circles and cook on a hot pan with no oil or anything.

Cook until visibly cooked through and golden on some spots on both sides.

Change it up!

Substitute the water in this dough for spinach puree for a green tortilla/ wrap.
